Description

The yoga retreat weekend will be led by myself, Jo Standen. I am an experienced yoga teacher and qualified with Friends of Yoga Society (FRYOG) International in 2013. In 2021 I completed my 500 hours of Advanced Yoga study again with Friends of Yoga.

The weekend will be rich in classical yoga practice and feature a variety of guest teachers. This retreat is suitable for all yoga students, trainee teachers and teachers.

The theme for 2024 is Life Rhythms.

This is my third annual yoga retreat and the theme for this year has taken time to emerge. With patience I was able to secure the teachers that I had set my heart on for this year. So we have the theme Life Rhythms. 5 Friends of Yoga trained teachers and 2 other facilitators offering a fantastic mix of teachers and activities for your enjoyment.

The weekend includes:

Park Place is a fine old Georgian House, set in 18 acres of beautiful grounds. It is close to the Hampshire village of Wickham. This idyllic rural English Manor, is a home to a small community of Roman Catholic Franciscan Nuns who run the Pastoral Centre. A peaceful Retreat venue, where you can pray, relax, unwind, walk with nature, listen to birdsong and get in touch with your inner self.

Accommodation

Accommodation is basic and is available in single or twin en-suite rooms and single or twin standard rooms – towels are provided. Rooms will be allocated on a first come first serve basis, so please indicate your preference on the booking form. The cost of the retreat to you is the same whichever room you are allocated.

Meals

All meals will be vegetarian and you will be provided with supper, breakfast and lunch. Beverages are always available. Please note that for our yoga retreat the Centre provides simple vegetarian fare. If you have a special diet or dietary restrictions e.g. dairy free, gluten free etc., please let us know by using the booking form to request any special diet and to note any allergies.

Cost

The cost of the weekend is £285.

The cost of this weekend includes all yoga tuition, guest teachers, residential accommodation and vegetarian meals.
